Facebook Strategy Report for Messy and Stressy:
I did enjoy creating a facebook page for my messy and stressy blog. I have never done this before for a class, and I thought that it was very interesting to do. However, it was a little hard to sustain a readership for my niche blog from using facebook. This is due to the fact that I did not get a ton of likes on each post, and I only had 31 likes as a whole on my blog. My likes on my page overall were from my prompting my blog on my personal page, which I believe helped to obtain small audience. My post did read a good amount of people though, which I thought was a positive. From my commentary below, I was able to learn some specific things about blogging and promoting through facebook. I realized that you need to post very often and create something personal with the posts that you are displaying. This way, people will be very interested in what you are posting. Going along with this, I learned that one needs to include dioglue into posts so your reader will be more attracted to your posts. I felt that I was able to achieve this with most of my posts as well. There are some things that I would have done differently if I did contuine to do this process in the future. First off, I would post in a more consistent manner. I posted on random times, so I believe that if I would have posted on specific days/times, I might have gained a stronger readership as a whole. I also would have tried to express some more virtual empathy for my readers. I had a fun time posting to my facebook and I hope to do something like this again in the future!
